Park Overview:
Half Moon Bay County Park is nestled between the Pacific Ocean, the Umpqua River and the Umpqua Dunes portion of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. The park provides direct dune access for Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV) and direct access to Half Moon Bay beach.
Campground
The campground provides direct access to the dunes for OHVs. Sites include:
- 45 non-hook up campsites (pull thru and back-in)
- 5 Group Camp sites
- Vault restrooms
- Triangle Road Overflow camping - primitive camping open seasonally when campground is full
Day Use
The day use area provides access to Half Moon Bay beach, trails along the Umpqua River and to the beach, parking, children's OHV play area and port-a-potty's.
